Self-described thought leader Pat Kelly delivers an insightful talk. (YouTube)
If you are a regular Internet surfer, chances are you have at some point or the other watched and applauded a TED Talk. The series features achievers delivering a powerful narrative of their life - who they are, what they did, how they achieved success and how you too can do the same. While most of these are exceptionally stimulating, here's one 'talk' that will make you laugh silently and question all other talks you've ever heard before.
In a video shared on YouTube, self-described thought leader Pat Kelly delivers an insightful talk about... well, nothing. Yep, you read that right. This talk isn't about a specific topic. All it does is deconstruct all those other talks you've heard and chances are it'll really make you think.
The talk begins when Mr Kelly wearing a blazer, a pair of glasses, and not to miss, a calm disposition, walks onto stage. He then gradually spoofs the actual speeches by talking about specific hand gestures, facial expressions, behavioral tricks, even the use of slides, all performed to engage the audience leading to a standing ovation.
We don't want to ruin it for you by over explaining Mr Kelly's sketch. So sit back, relax and watch him in the video below. We're sorry in advance if this ruins the actual speeches for you.
