The challenge: Dump a bucket of icy water over yourself.
Who's been challenged: NDTV's Vikram Chandra
This year's summer blockbuster line-up has so far included a series of VIPs from George W Bush, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg to Daler Mehndi and Yuvraj Singh drenching themselves with freezing water, to raise awareness and funds for Lou Gehrig's disease. The Ice Bucket Challenge exploded across the world, a charity chain reaction gone global, and the blast radius has now reached NDTV. Group CEO Vikram Chandra had 24 hours, according to rules, to complete the task and/or donate. In turn, he was allowed to tag three others in the pay-it-forward challenge.

And here's Vikram post-drench:
Vikram was nominated by
@buzzindelhi, who, off Twitter, is Arvind Gupta, convenor of BJP's IT cell and part of the Narendra Modi campaign for 2014. In turn, Vikram has nominated three colleagues from NDTV, so if you see Barkha Dutt, Sonia Singh and Rajiv Makhni freezing wet in the next 24 hours, it'll have been courtesy Vikram Chandra .
Lou Gehrig's disease is medically known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS - a fact that many more people know now than they did before, thanks to the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Vikram tweeted:
Barkha, Sonia, Rajiv - coming soon? "Surely, you jest," Sonia tweeted to Vikram. "No, I don't," he replied. Sonia, you've been challenged.
