Creepy or just sharing a secret? During the swearing-in ceremony for US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden was seen whispering into the ears of the wife of the new defense secretary. Social media was far from impressed.
Twitter immediately started calling him names for his 'poor etiquette'.
People mocking Joe Biden for his creepy nuzzling should understand that Joe Biden cannot be embarrassed.

As Washington Post noted, this wasn't the first time Biden was seen being over-familiar. Earlier, he had been photographed in similar fashion with a biker. And recently, he was caught on camera whispering into Maggie Coons' ears during her father US Senator Chris Coon's swearing in, till she pulled away.
Hours after the uproar over the latest photograph, Biden's discussion on the Somali community in his hometown Delaware offended some people again. Biden said he had great relations with them, "because an awful lot of them are driving cabs". Critics accused him of making insensitive comments that played to a racial stereotype.
Vice Pres. Biden apparently has many taxicab driver friends from #Somalia. Um...when was the last time he took a cab? http://t.co/8IoNCCgWsy

Altogether, it didn't seem to be one of the best days for the Veep.
