Twitter Attacks IndiGo After Video Of Crew Assaulting Passenger Goes Viral
IndiGo has been criticised for the way its staff handled a passenger.
About a month after the incident took place, a video of the ground staff of IndiGo airlines assaulting a passenger went viral on social media recently. The viral clip shows a passenger, Rajeev Katiyal, being assaulted and dragged on the tarmac by the staff of IndiGo airlines at the Delhi airport. It caused a wave of anger in the country and forced the airlines to apologise.

The video invited sharp reactions from Twitter as many hit out at IndiGo for how they handled the incident.
 
Others took to trolling them with their tweets.
 
IndiGo has also been severely criticised for allegedly firing the employee who recorded the video on his mobile phone.
 
Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha said he had sought a report from the airline and called the incident "deplorable and unfortunate".
