A chilling bodycam video released by the Crawfordsville Police Department of Indiana, USA, shows a police officer firing at a masked man - an actor posing as a robber. The incident took place on Tuesday evening, after the Crawfordsville Police Department acted on a tip-off about a masked man, armed with a gun, entering an eatery, reports RTV6.

When police arrived at the scene, they mistook the shoot taking place to be an actual robbery and ordered the actor, later identified as Jeff Duff, to drop his gun. The gun was later determined to be a prop.

"Drop the gun," they can be heard screaming as an officer fires at the actor. "We're doing a movie," Mr Duff can be heard yelling as he drops his gun and takes his mask off.

The fired bullet, fortunately, did not hit him and struck a nearby building instead.

"The bullet went by his head. It was very close," said Phillip Demoret, actor, to RTV6. "I don't want to think about it.  If it had hit him, we'd be having a whole different conversation. Thank goodness he wasn't."

Indiana State Police later figured out that Montgomery County Production was filming at the location, but no one, including the eatery or the production company, had notified police or businesses nearby that filming would be occurring, reports the Daily Mail.
