It can be overwhelming even for humans to meet their favourite characters at Disneyland, but this adorable pooch's reaction to meeting his favourite character is something else.
Ace, a Labrador training to become a service dog, couldn't contain his excitement when he got to meet Pluto at the theme park. In a video that's gone viral with over 19 million views on Facebook since being posted on February 8, Ace can be seen wagging his tail, hopping up and down, and nuzzling his furry hero.
The dog, currently under training to be a guide dog for the visually impaired, was taken to Disneyland as a socialisation experience. "This was a training outing and I was too far back to correct him, but golly-be... he responded anyway. Yep! That is my boy and I am proud of him and love the Disney characters for being so kind and helpful!" wrote Ace's trainer, volunteer Sandy Steinblums, on Facebook.
The video shows Mr Steinblums trying to curb Ace's excitement but it takes a few seconds for him to return to his cool and collected self. Even then, Ace can still be seen wagging his tail. We guess keeping calm and carrying on was really not an option for this pooch.
"It will be 6-9 months of extensive training with licensed trainers before Ace has the opportunity to graduate as a guide dog and has the right match in a human partner," Mr Steinblums wrote on Facebook.
We love Ace!
