While social media is debating whether or not Deepika Padukone's 'My Choice' video is really empowering, there is another video which you might have missed.
In a video posted on YouTube on March 24, Indian cricketers Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu and team director Ravi Shastri bat for women's rights and pledge to protect the choices women make by respecting them.
"Protecting a woman means respecting her. Protecting her choice to be, to earn, to dream whatever she wants," says Virat Kohli, who stood by his girlfriend, actress Anushka Sharma, when she was blamed by some for the Indian cricket team's defeat in the semi-final match against Australia.
The video has been released by My Choices, a NGO working towards eliminating violence against women and girls.
