On Tuesday, she tweeted the moment her sister was able to read a food menu for the first time in 18 years. She tweeted a photo of her sister ordering her own food with the help of a Braille menu and the image is melting hearts. When the siblings went to eat at Red Robin Burgers in Ohio, Alyssa was surprised to see the restaurant offered her sister a menu written in Braille.
Her tweet was liked over 350,000 times and retweeted 95,000 times.
Alyssa also posted a screenshot of a conversation with the restaurant, thanking them for making their visit special. The restaurant returned the favour by inviting the siblings back along with a $50 gift coupon.
