Quite the scary sight, this. A video posted on Facebook shows a truck on fire driving on a highway. It continued in that state for at least three kilometers before finally getting some help.
The video has been posted on the
People's Daily, China Facebook page. It details the incident that occurred on September 16 in China's Jiangsu province. The vehicle was an empty cement tank truck and was set ablaze after one of its tyres caught fire on the Changchun-Shenzhen Expressway.
The driver of the truck continued driving the truck but feared damaging the expressway. So he sought help at a toll station. That's where staff at the poll station helped put the fire out.
