Spotting the big cat in the wild is an opportunity few have. But some motorists were fortunate to see a pride of Asiatic lions on a highway in Gujarat. People driving on the Pipavav-Rajula highway in Gujarat were greeted with the rare sight when they spotted the group trying to cross the highway. The video was shot by a driver on Saturday in Gujarat's Amreli.
The video shows the group waiting to get to the other side of the highway but unable to do so due to moving traffic. As the group waits for the traffic to stop, a biker stops dangerously close to film the sight.
After about 15 minutes, the traffic on the other side stopped to give way to the pride that managed to cross the road with the exception of one lion that went back.
