24 hours after Twitter spent the day debating whether a dress worn by the mother of a bride in Scotland was white-and-gold or blue-and-black, the focus has shifted -at least in India -to the jacket worn by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley as he entered parliament today with his budget briefcase.
He was wearing a blue jacket over a white kurta.
I hope Arun Jaitley has the answer. White and gold or blue and black? #TheDress

Twitter is finally happy that somebody answered the vital question that was on their mind yesterday. And, it was none other than the FM.
@rameshsrivats The FM is wearing Blue & white. Case Settled #Budget2015 #TheDress #jaitley #India

And one person pointed out that if Mr Jaitley were in Bengal, he would have got a tax break, given he is wearing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's favourite colour.
Jaitley in Parliament wearing Blue and White. In Calcutta, he would've got tax rebate ;-)

The Bengal government had announced that painting your houses white and blue would lessen your property tax. Last year, Mr Jaitley wore a yellow jacket while presenting his maiden budget in July.
