Around 4 pm yesterday, passers-by were puzzled to see a blindfolded man standing at Chowpatty, with a sign by him, which read, 'I'm Muslim and I trust you. Do you trust me enough for a hug?'
Many people took pictures, and some hugged the man. Some wondered what to do, as they just stood silently, staring at him. Some stopped to talk to him. The man, Mazim Milla, said he did this just as an experiment to see people's reactions.
Incidentally, the experiment was first conducted by a Muslim man in Canada. It was then repeated in Stockholm and New York.
