Few would argue about Aamir Khan's ability to pull off just about any role or character. However, this one dialogue of birthday boy Shah Rukh's seems to have let Mr Perfectionist down and how.
In a commercial for a brand he endorses, Aamir can be seen copying King Khan's famous dialogue from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. But he's having a little problem - the dialogue worked like a charm for SRK but not for him.
We're talking about the iconic station scene from DDLJ. You know, the one that gave the world a sure-shot and safe method to find out if a potential love interest returns your affection or not.
The line not only worked in the film, but also 20 years later - kind of.
It appears though, that simply sharing a last name and superstar status with SRK isn't enough to make a little bit of his own particular magic work for you.
Aamir went through the same drill of palat... palat... palat, but the object of his affections didn't, well, palat.
