The recipients of the grant are photographers Ismail Ferdous, Adriana Zehbrauskas and Dmitry Markov. On their Instagram accounts, you will find pictures that tell stories previously untold, addressing existing social and humanitarian issues related to some of the most marginalized communities across the globe.

Brazilian photographer Adriana Zehbrauskas, has garnered praise for her portfolio on climate change and its effect on the lives of Latin Americans. She is also a contributing photographer at The New York Times.
Ismail Ferdous, from Bangladesh, has worked on After Rana Plaza - a project about those who were and are impacted by the collapse of a garment factory complex in Dhaka that killed over 1,110 people in 2013.
Dmitry Markov, based in Russia, works with orphaned children.
According to Connect, the trio will receive US $10,000 each along with training from Getty photojournalists John Moore, Chris McGrath and Andrew Burton.
