A letter from school is not what you would expect to brighten your day, but this one will. A head teacher at the Barrowford Primary School in Lancashire, UK wrote an encouraging letter to her students right after their KS2 SAT test. The letter has now gone viral on the internet.

In a world, where academic scores are often the most important parameter of a student's achievements, this teacher urges her pupils to take pride in who they are irrespective of their pending test results. "Tests always do not assess all of what it is that make each of you special and unique" she writes.

Sparing a thought for those with a creative bent of mind, she says: 'They do not know that you can play a musical instrument or that you can dance or paint a picture. 'Her letter also highlights the value of qualities like kindness, which are often lost in the race to the top.

To their surprise, the school has received an overwhelming response from all over the world.

On Twitter, the school is asking people to hashtag their location along with their tweets. Why? Well, the school already has another awesome idea. A fun activity for its students wherein they learn to plot these tweets on a world map. Kudos to their spirit!
