Abeera Tariq decided to crop her mother out of a photo. It was a very bad decision.
Let this be a cautionary tale for everyone posting pictures online - never ever crop your mother out of one or you'll have hell to pay later. A woman from Maryland, United States, learnt firsthand what happens when you do this and her tweet about the meltdown that followed is not only making people laugh but also say 'same'. Abeera Tariq from Maryland shared the hilarious tweet on December 19 and it has since gone viral with over 11,000 retweets and almost 19,000 likes.
In the tweet, Ms Tariq says it all began at a gathering where she and her family took hundreds of pictures. But because she wanted a picture of herself with just her brothers and couldn't find one, Ms Tariq decided to crop her mother out of the photo. Bad decision. She posted it and immediately realized what a huge mistake she'd made.
Her actions really, really hurt her mother. Do you know how much? Here's how much.
In her tweet, Ms Tariq also attached two pictures. The first shows the original picture with four family members (Ms Tariq along with her mother and two brothers) together. The second shows a snapshot of the conversation that followed the sharing of the cropped photo. One look at the messages from angry mom and you know that this isn't a mistake you make ever again. Behold:
We repeat: "Itni mushkil se paida karo aur picture se crop kar liya!" How could you?
Twitter couldn't get over the tweet.
So if you ever think about cropping your mum out of any of your photos, just remember - you are in this world because of her. DON'T DO IT.
