Woman Pranks Husband With 'Magic' Trick. 61 Million Views And Counting

NEW DELHI: April Fools' Day may be over but if you need a simple yet brilliant prank for next year (or sooner because why not?) here's something you can try. A woman pranked her husband with this hilarious 'magic' trick and their video is now going insanely viral on social media. Since being shared on April 3, the video has collected a whopping 61 million views on Facebook - and still very much counting. You'll be rolling on the floor laughing with this one.

Marietta Spencer Tyks from Indiana, USA, saw the prank on Facebook and decided she wanted to try it on her husband Tommy Tyks. So she set the prank up and also put up a camera to record the whole thing.

"Honey, I'm gonna show you a trick," Ms Tyks tells her husband in the video. She puts a penny below a water bottle, covers it with a towel and explains to him that with some 'magic words' she'll make the penny land inside the bottle. "Really?" he asks her, adding: "Let me see this happen."

With the prank in motion, Ms Tyks says some 'magic' words. She then removes the towel off the bottle and asks her husband to check if the penny has in fact landed inside the bottle. The second he bends to look inside the bottle, Ms Tyks squeezes it so that a fountain of water splashes over his face.

You cannot miss the way she laughs after successfully pranking her husband.

In addition to the millions of views, the video has also collected 1.4 million shares on Facebook.

"We went to bed last night laughing about how funny it was, then to wake up and finding it went viral was crazy. I am so grateful for my husband's great sense of humor and that he laughed at himself too. I love him dearly," she says on a different Facebook post.
 

"How cute is this couple," says one commenter on the video. "That was awesome," says another.
