You Won't Believe What These Celebs Wore To Met Gala Red Carpet

At the 2016 Met Gala in New York, the most bizarre outfits of all times were on display, true to the theme "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology".

From derriere-exposing gowns to no-pants, gravity-defying hairdos and robotic make-up - Hollywood celebs pulled out all the stops. Here are the Met Gala outfits that had eyes popping.

1. Madonna's bondage costume 
The iconic popstar unleashed her inner style demon with a body-hugging cutout bodysuit and strategically placed tape. 
 
2. Lady Gaga forgets her pants
She is known for her unusual fashion sense. Here's one more for the Gaga gallery. She wore a blingy purple rubber Atelier Versace halter bra, matching high-waist corset and a studded gunmetal jacket with fishnet stockings and sky-high platforms. The outfit looked incomplete...now what could be missing?
 
3. Katy Perry gets funky with Tamagotchi 
Katy Perry wore a midnight blue Prada gown decked with a gold floral design and she paired it with a beehive hairdo and a shaved eyebrow look and nude make-up (talk about bizarre!)The edgy popstar wore Tamagotchi along with multiple keys around her neck and completed her quirky look with black lipstick and leather gloves.
 
4. Zayn Malik gets a robotic arm
It was the Met Gala debut for this heartthrob and Zayn Malik played it safe with a relative tame armored hand attached to his tux. He did stand out.
 
5. Jermey Scott is the "Skeletal" stud 
Designer Jermey Scott may have gone somewhat overboard with this studded skeleton look on the red carpet. It looks like a better choice for Halloween, but maybe he didn't want to wait that long.
