Cool announcement alert! Facebook has recently acquired MSQRD, the popular face-swapping app and Mark Zuckerberg found the most apt way to ring in the good news.

In a video posted on his profile some 16 hours ago, the Facebook superboss welcomed MSQRD by getting his Iron Man on. The video shows Zuck using the cool app by putting on a virtual Iron Man mask.

"Taking a break from coding to welcome the MSQRD team to Facebook!" he wrote on Facebook.

It's no secret now that Zuckerberg is a huge Iron Man fan. Earlier this year, he had announced wanting to build an artificially intelligent butler just like Tony Stark's Jarvis in the superhero film. Zuck took up the project as part of his "personal challenge" for this year.

So Zuckerberg, now engrossed in the coding work for his Jarvis, chose the special look to announce Facebook's new venture.

"No, I haven't also built an Iron Man suit. I'm using this app MSQRD that lets you put real time filters on your videos. And today I'm excited to share that the team behind MSQRD is joining Facebook," Zuckerberg says in the footage.

The video has already gone viral on Facebook with over 5.4 million views and almost 10,000 shares. Watch Zuckerberg as Iron Man below:
