Nashik:
Nearly 15 policemen are reportedly injured in communal clashes in Maharashtra's Nashik, in an area 50 km from where the massive Kumbh Mela is being held.
Reports suggest the police had to use batons to control two groups who clashed in the Harsul area, where the body of a boy was found in a well two days ago.
The family of the boy claims that he was killed. The violence reportedly took place because the police allegedly delayed filing a case.
The police say the situation has improved.
There is heavy security in Nashik for the Kumbh Mela, the largest religious congregation in the world, where thousands of people take a holy dip in the river.
