Two engineering students of the prestigious National Institute of Technology-Jamshedpur have got job offers from American companies with a pay package of more than hundred thousand US Dollars per annum.
Epic Systems Corporation of USA in the ongoing placement process has offered a pay package of approximately $ 105,000, which equals to about Rs 67 lakh per annum, to two students - Kshitij Gupta and Ali Jaheer of Computer Science and Engineering branch , Dr Rajiv Bhusan, Professor In-charge (Media Relation) of NIT said in a release today.
Epic Systems Corporation is a leading health care software company of Vermont, Wisconsin, USA.

Meanwhile, the second highest package of Rs 32 lakh per annum was offered by a Japanese company, Works Applications, to two students - Subham Satish Baldava of Computer Science & Engineering and Bharat Singh Bhandari of Electrical Engineering Branch, the release said.
Last year (2013-2014) the highest annual package of 50,00,000 Japanese Yen was offered by Works Applications to two students of Computer Science and Engineering of the institute.
A total of 600 job offers have been made to students till now as the placement season was likely to continue till June, 2015, the release added.
