Dehradun: A woman was killed and a man was critically injured after their Maruti car fell in a gorge near Dhanolti today. They were on their way to Dehradun.
Poonam Mehar, 19, who was in the passenger seat died at the spot while Arvind Rauthan, 24, was admitted to a hospital in Dehradun with critical injuries.
Witnesses say that the road was slippery from the rain and the driver was speeding and lost control of the car.
The locals were the first to reach the spot who helped the police get the two out of the 100 meters deep gorge and get medical assistance.
