Muzaffarnagar: A class eleven student allegedly shot his classmate at a tuition class at Purkazi town in Muzaffarnagar district yesterday, a police official said today.
Akshay Sharma (17), who was shot by accused Anant Tyagi, has been shifted to a nearby hospital, the police official said.
Mr Tyagi was taken into custody and the pistol was recovered from his possession, they said.
Police is yet to determine the reason behind the attack.
