Darjeeling:
A Geological Survey of India (GSI) team will be visiting landslide affected area of Mirik which was worst hit in the July 1 devastation that shook the Darjeeling Hills.
The team of experts will study the vulnerable zones of the landslide-hit picturesque Mirisk dotted with tea gardens where most of the deaths were reported, officials said.
"We have set up 49 relief camps where around 3,200 people are staying," District Magistrate Anurag Srivastav said today.
Over 40 people had died in the landslides with some still missing, state disaster management department sources said.
