Maoists snatch railway signal torchlights

Rourkela: Suspected Maoists have snatched cash, a mobile phone and two railway signal torchlights at gunpoint from an assistant station manager (ASM) at Jareikela station in Orissa. The police said ten armed Maoists had threatened the ASM Sidharth Prasad who was on duty last night and robbed him at gunpoint. Maoists put up posters in Jareikela and nearby areas, vowing to avenge the encounter killings of two of their area commanders, Sameer Xalxo and Mohmad Muslim.
