Preparations were completed for three-day Ram Navami festival beginning from today at famous Saibaba temple in Shirdi, Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) said.
Arrangements like makeshift structures, drinking water, security were put in place at the temple where lakhs of devotees from different parts of Maharashtra and other states are likely to arrive, trust's acting executive officer Kundan Kumar Sonawane said.
The temple will be open for 24 hours tomorrow for devotees while special pooja like 'abhisheka' and Satyanarayan will not be held due to anticipated heavy rush of devotees.
Temporary sheds have been erected on the outskirts of Shirdi with facility like drinking water. Palanquins (palki) service has been made available for elderly devotees at these spots, he said.
