The 17th BML Munjal Awards for Business Excellence through Learning and Development recognised trailblazing organisations for their commitment to employee development as a strategy for achieving business success. Named after Hero Group founder and Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Brijmohan Lall Munjal, these awards celebrate innovation and investment in Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives for talent development to achieve organisational growth and success.

This year's winners included:

  • TVS Motors: Private Sector (Manufacturing)
  • Reliance Jio Infocomm and Tata AIG General Insurance: Private Sector (Services)
  •  OYO: Emerging Stars
  •  ONGC Videsh: Public Sector
  •  HPCL: Sustained Excellence

The awards ceremony, held at The Oberoi, New Delhi, was attended by distinguished guests, including Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal as the Chief Guest; India's G20 Sherpa Shri Amitabh Kant as the Guest of Honour; Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of Amul; Rajarshi Gupta, Managing Director of ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL); and Vineet Rai, Founder & Chairman of Aavishkaar Group.
The event, moderated by NDTV's Sikta Deo, featured engaging discussions and insights. NDTV served as the media partner for this prestigious event.
The six organisations were adjudged winners by an independent jury that included industry leaders and experts:

Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal highlighted the importance of prioritising people in business. He said at the event, "People are the only assets that appreciate as time goes on, and they need to be placed at the centre of every model, whether it is for a business enterprise or a social venture. "Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal, while unveiling the Hindi Braille edition of "The Making of Hero" written by Sunil Kant Munjal, said, "It is equally important as well for differently abled people to realise their dreams and feel that they are contributing to the growth of the nation; for this to happen meaningfully, a change in mindset is vital, and our Prime Minister's Divyangjan Swavalamban Yojana is a vital initiative in this direction. "Mr. Amitabh Kant added, "Talent drives investment, which in turn drives growth. These awards are the human symbols of India's hard power."

Selected through a rigorous four-stage screening process managed by Grant Thornton Bharat, the winners were recognised for their innovative L&D practices at the awards ceremony. The evening also included a thought-provoking panel discussion on "The Business of Doing Good," featuring leaders from Amul, ONGC Videsh, and Aavishkaar Group.
