Patna: All 30 ministers in Bihar submitted the details of their assets to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, after he asked his cabinet colleagues to place records of their properties.
"We have submitted the details of our assets to Chief Minister," Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi said.
Modi said the details of these assets would be posted on the state government's websites for public.
In a bid to weed out corruption, Kumar had asked his ministerial colleagues earlier this month to submit the details of assets that they possess by 31st December so that the records can be put on the websites for public.
Circulars were issued to officials, including IAS and IPS cadre, besides other public servants from Grade I to Grade III ranks to declare their assets, official sources said. The details of assets owned by Chief Minister would also be placed on the government's websites.
