Patna: Two junior doctors at the Indira Gandhi medical institute in Patna were injured last night when two goons with whom they had an argument, fired upon them within the institute campus.
The incident took place near the institute's hostel campus. During the course of their argument, two people ended up firing and the two junior doctors received minor injuries. They were given first aid immediately at the hospital.
"The students of the hostel and a neighbouring locality had a fight. There were also reports of firing which injured two students," said Senior SP, Alok Kumar.
One of the goons has been arrested while the other one is missing.
