To provide comfortable journey to commuters during Holi festival rush, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run Special Trains between Bhubaneswar and Patna and Puri and Bhanjapur (Baripada).
08449 Bhubaneswar-Patna Holi Special Train will leave Bhubaneswar at 1535hrs on March 18 and 25, 2016 (Fridays) and will reach at Patna at 1140hrs on the following days, ECoR said in a release.
In the return direction, 08450 Patna-Bhubaneswar Holi Special Train will leave Patna at 1400hrs on March 19 and 26, 2016 (Saturdays) and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 0700 hrs on the next days, it said.
The Holi Special Train has One AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tiers, 13 Sleeper Class Coaches, Two Second Class Sitting Coaches and Two Guard cum Second Class Sitting Coaches having stoppages at Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Adra, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama and Fathuha between Bhubaneswar and Patna.
Similarly, 08492 Puri-Bhanjapur Special will leave Puri at 1945 hrs on every Friday between February 26 and March 25, 2016 and reach Bhanjapur at 0300hrs the following days. In return direction, 08491 Bhanjapur (Baripada)-Puri Special will leave Bhanjapur at 2315 hrs on every Saturday between February 27 and March 26, 2016 and arrive Puri at 0530 hrs on the next days, the release said.
The Special Train has One AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tiers, 08 Sleeper Class Coaches, Two Second Class Sitting Coaches and Two Guard cum Second Class Sitting Coaches having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Soro, Balasore, Rupsa, Betonati and Baripada between Puri and Bhanjapur, it added.
