Patna:
The police in Patna had to resort to firing in the air and lathicharge to disperse the protesting employees of the power board today.
The employees of the Bihar Power Board were protesting against the government move to privatise the power distribution in the city.
Though the government had assured the employees that their jobs are secure, the employees had gone on a protest, blocking the gates of the power board building complex.
