Jailor shot at outside jail compound

Patna: Amarjit Singh, Jailor of high-security Beaur Jail on the outskirts of Bihar capital, was injured when unidentified men fired at him near the jail compound yesterday, police said.

The gunmen shot at Singh when he was going to his residence from the jail, sources said.


Singh was admitted to nearby hospital.
