The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) today seized over 800 gm heroin valued at about Rs 10 crore and arrested three persons in this connection from a hotel in Patna.
Acting on a tip off, a DRI team raided the hotel near the railway station and seized 840 gm heroin valued at around Rs 10 crore in the international market.
The three persons nabbed in this connection have been identified as Mohammad Jameel and Mohammad Furkhan, both hailing from Manipur, and Khalique Akhtar of Uttar Pradesh, DRI sources said.
The two from Manipur had brought the banned stuff to hand it over to Akhtar for further trade, the sources said.
