Salem:
The mystery of a decomposed body found hanging from a tree near Salem has been cracked after police identified it to be that of a youth from Patna who allegedly committed suicide a couple of weeks ago.
The highly decomposed body clad in a wedding dhoti was found yesterday.
Police said 21-year-old Kundhan was dejected after the girl, who he married two months ago in Patna, was taken away by her parents, who had opposed the marriage, and brought to Salem.
Though Kundhan arrived in Salem after the girl informed him, he found she was taken to Delhi and decided to end his life and allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree, police said.
