Patna: The Bihar police has begun a hunt for the stepson of a woman and her two daughters who were found murdered at their home in Patna on Saturday.
Alina Singh, the second wife of retired Bihar government employee Gopal Sharan Singh, and daughters Sonali and Purnima were killed on Friday. Devesh, Mr Singh's son from his first marriage, is the suspect.
According to the police, Mr Singh has claimed that Devesh confessed to him about having committed the murders out of revenge. Devesh was allegedly upset that his father gave Sonali and Purnima more attention.

Mr Singh told the police Devesh committed the murders before boarding the train and reached the railway station late. He spilled the beans when he saw his father making frantic calls home and getting no response.
