Jagdish Thakor, the state Congress chief, is expected to represent the party from the Dehgam constituency in the upcoming Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022. A two-time MLA, Thakor is one of the most prominent leaders of the Congress in Gujarat.
The Congress has already announced its first list of 43 candidates for the Gujarat Assembly elections. The polls are scheduled to be held in two phases on December 1 and December 5. The voting for 89 constituencies of the Gujarat Assembly will take place in the first phase and for the rest 93 constituencies in the second phase. The results will be announced on December 8.
