BMW rolls out 6 Series Gran Coupe in India

German luxury car maker BMW has launched its all-new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe in diesel variant, priced at Rs 86.40 lakh (all-India ex-showroom), in the domestic market.

  • The coupe is powered by BMW's TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine, which, with its two turbochargers, Valvetronic, double-Vanos and High Precision Injection, is capable of reaching 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds. It has maximum torque of 650 Nm, and is equipped with Auto Start Stop function and other BMW EfficientDynamics measures.

  • The new BMW comes with a free-standing, 10.2-inch control display along with the standard professional navigation system. According to the car maker, the designers drew their inspiration for the cockpit from exclusive motorboats.

  • The seats are furnished with high-quality Dakota Nappa leather trim, in sync with the leather-coated instrument panel, the central console and the upper sections of the door trim and side panels. BMW also offers special wood or aluminium trim options.

An option to fold down the rear seats and move armrests also increases the volume of the luggage compartment to 1,265 litres.   • For enhancing comfort, BMW has provided four-zone automatic climate control and electric sunblinds for the rear windows and rear windscreen along with the ConnectedDrive system with up to five cameras.
