Jobs website Glassdoor has released a report on the highest paid jobs in America. The report is based on people who have shared their salaries on Glassdoor over the period of one year (24 January, 2015 to 23 January, 2016), the jobs portal said. Here are the highest paying jobs in America:
Doctors with a median base salary of $180,000 per annum are the top earners in America.
Next in the list are lawyers, who get a median base salary of $144,500.
Research and development managers are the third highest paid with a median base salary of $142,120.
Software development managers are next on the list with a median salary of $132,000.
A pharmacy manager's median base salary is $1,30,000 as per the report.
A strategy manager's salary is the same as that of a pharmacy manager.
The median base salary of a software architect is $128,250.
Integrated circuit designer engineer's median base salary is $127,500.
IT manager's median base salary is $120,000.
Solutions architects get the same salary as IT managers, as per the report.
