The list of India-origin executives heading global corporations is growing every year. Here are a few of them:

Hyderabad-born Prem Watsa is the founder, chairman, and chief executive of Fairfax Financial Holding. Mr Watsa was born in 1950 and trained as a chemical engineer at IIT Chennai. Mr Watsa is often described as the Canadian Warren Buffett because he also takes the long view.

Rajeev Suri is the chief executive officer of Nokia Solutions and Networks. He joined Nokia in 1995, and has held numerous executive level positions in the company. Born in 1967, he has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Telecommunications) from Mangalore University.

Rajeev Vasudeva is CEO of Zurich-based executive search firm Egon Zehnder. Mr.Vasudeva joined Egon Zehnder in 1995 when his consultancy Sachar Vasudeva & Associates merged with Egon Zehnder. Mr Vasudeva has a BA in economics from St Stephens College, Delhi, and an MBA from University of Michigan.
