Salman Khan had some help from a feathered friend when he launched season six of reality show Bigg Boss which he will host for the third time.

Salman, who is busy shooting for Dabangg 2, was in full on alpha Khan mode.

Salman, who told reporters at the launch that he has no hand in selecting the contestants for the show, danced his way onto the stage.

The actor is also doing a special song Kudiye Di Kurti in friend Preity Zinta's home production Ishkq in Paris.

Dapper in a grey suit, Salman has recently launched his Facebook page to connect with his ever-growing fanbase.

Bigg Boss 6 returns to the prime time slot of 9 pm.

Salman Khan said that as a host of the show, he doesn't like to intervene but could not help it last season due to the circumstances. "I felt very bad but I was getting feedback about the show from everywhere. I am not supposed to intervene, but it had become too much." Here talking to a female fan.

Salman Khan, who is soon going to start shooting for his brother Sohail Khan's Sher Khan, said that even though some of the contestants may try to come into the limelight through controversies, the winners have always been different.

Salman has also promised that this time the show will be more family oriented.
