The sangeet ceremony for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor on Sunday evening was the first of their pre-wedding ceremonies. The private affair was attended by family and very close friends only. Seen here, the soon-to-be married couple enter the venue together.

Bride-to-be Kareena looked exquisite in a traditional orange lehenga with a golden blouse.
Saif also dressed traditionally for the party.
Saif's daughter with his first wife Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan, glittered in a pastel lehenga.

We got to see the bride's elder sister courtesy of designer Manish Malhotra who posted this picture on Twitter. Manish and Karisma Kapur – in a green lehenga by the designer - had been busy with fittings together in the days leading up to the sangeet.

Saif's sister Saba and Soha were in attendance. Soha was spotted with beau Kunal Khemu.
Malaika Arora Khan was gorgeous in a pink lehenga.

Malaika's sister and Kareena's best friend Amrita Arora, who is expecting a second baby, came with husband Shakeel Ladak.
Director-producer Karan Johar and designer Manish Malhotra opted for an Indian look. Manish Malhotra has designed Kareena's wedding trousseau and refurbished the traditional gharara she will wear for the nikaah.
From the Kapoor family, Kareena's aunt Reema Jain was spotted with son Armaan.

Veteran actress and Kareena's aunt Neetu Kapoor also joined in her niece's celebration.
