A R Rahman, India's global face at the Grammys

Music maestro and Grammy awardee A R Rahman attended this year's Grammys held in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26. In this picture, Mr Rahman poses against a backdrop of a sea of people and seems to be having a good time.The Mozart of Madras, as he is popularly called, won two Grammys for his hit track Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire in 2010.

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt lent her voice to a song in her upcoming film Highway. Music maestro AR Rahman reportedly told Alia that if she learnt singing for two years, she could have her album.

The actress recently revealed that when her Highway director Imtiaz Ali asked her to croon a number in the film, she jumped at the idea.

Alia seems to really enjoy singing from whatever we can make out.
