A Very Jo Jeeta Reunion With Aamir Khan

It's a big year for Aamir Khan with the trailer of his upcoming film Dangal getting rave reviews, and his iconic college drama Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar celebrating its 24th anniversary. The moment we heard that the film's cast and crew would be reuniting for a special celebration at the 18th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival this year, interests piqued. Here's a look:

Aamir was seen with his onscreen brother Mamik (also known for the TV series Vikraal aur Gabraal).

Not many know that Imran Khan played a small part in the film as Aamir's younger version.

The mama-bhanja pair looked dapper.

Aamir sported an interesting T-shirt with his mother Zeenat's name on it.

He also posed with daughter Ira.

Imran arrived with pretty wife Avantika.

Director Mansoor Khan, who helmed many of Aamir's hits including this one was present.

Actress Pooja Bedi came in sporting the same colour as her iconic dress in Pehla Nasha.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar's's suave anti-hero Deepak Tijori was there.

Actress Ayesha Jhulka smiled for the shutterbugs.

Actress Kiran Zaveri arrived in style.

Music composer Lalit Pandit (then part of Jatin-Lalit) was part of the celebration. He also played a small role in the film.

Now celebrated TV actor-director Deven Bhojani was part of Aamir's friend circle in the film.

Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan who got her big break with Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and actor Aditya Lakhia joined in.

Aamir's Dangal co-stars Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra attended the event.

Meanwhile, Aamir was also the chief guest at the launch of a book on the life and work of late filmmaker, uncle Nasir Hussain. He was accompanied by his mother.

We also spotted Aamir's ex-wife Reena at the family do.

Veteran actress Asha Parekh, who worked in many hit films of Nasir saab's came for the tribute.

Aamir's brother Faisal was visibly excited.
