Aamir, Kareena get cozy

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be seen together on the big screen for the first time in 3 Idiots.

Reports about their sizzling scenes together have been floating around for quite some time.

There are reportedly three kisses in the film featuring Aamir and Kareena.

Aamir had a sizzling kissing scene with Kareena's elder sister Karisma in Raja Hindustani.

3 Idiots is directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Hirani's last two films as a director Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Munna Bhai MBBS were runaway hits.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra is the producer and the film is being released under his banner Vinod Chopra Productions.

Playing the two other idiots are R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi.

Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman had appeared together in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Rang De Basanti.

Aamir's last release Ghajini was a major hit at the box office.

3 Idiots is said to be loosely based on Chetan Bhagat's successful debut novel Five Point Someone.

Boman Irani plays the role of Viru Sahastrabudhhe the principal of the institute that the three protagonists study in.

The film is also said to be a critique on the Indian education system.

Being set in the backdrop of an engineering college, the film captures many aspects of hostel life.

The film was shot in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ladakh and Shimla.

3 Idiots is slated for a December 25 release.
