Bollywood actor Aamir Khan was awarded for his TV show Satyamev Jayate by media organisation America Abroad in Washington on October 28, 2013. Aamir, who was applauded for highlighting a variety of social issues including female foeticide and medical malpractices on the show, received his award from Douglas B Wilson, former Assistant Secretary of Defence for Public Affairs. He was accompanied by wife Kiran Rao.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan 's versatility never ceases to amaze us. We stumbled upon this picture of the actor shooting for his upcoming film Peekay and were suprised to see him wearing a bright shade of lipstick and beads for his role. Aamir, who is playing the lead role in the film, has also reportedly crossdressed for his role. We aren't really surprised since Aamir is known to go the extra mile where his films are concerned.

Peekay, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is set to hit the screens on June 6 next year.
