Al Pacino honoured at Venice film festival
Veteran actor Al Pacino was honoured at the 68th Venice International Film Festival for his work as a moviemaker. He was awarded the Jaeger Lecoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award.

Al Pacino is in Venice to promote Wilde Salome, a part-documentary about writer-poet Oscar Wilde and part-movie adaptation of his play Salome. The actor has directed the film, which is his third theatre-themed movie after Looking for Richard and Chinese Coffee.
