Actor Amitabh Bachchan, dressed in a black suit, collected his National Award for Best Actor for Piku in New Delhi on May 3. This is Mr Bachchan's fourth National Award.

Actress Kangana Ranaut, stunning in a strapless silver gown, collected her National Award for Best Actress for Tanu Weds Manu Returns. This is Kangana's third national award.
Actress Kalki Koechlin received Special Jury National Award for her role in Margarita, With a Straw.
Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali received Best Director National Award for Bajirao Mastani. The film featured actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in pivotal roles.
