It's been seven years since Brangelina became Hollywood's most feted couple and now Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who once claimed they would not marry until same sex marriages were legalised, are finally engaged.
Brad commissioned and collaborated with a Beverly Hills jeweller to create an engagement ring for Angelina. -
They famously fell in love on the sets of Mr And Mrs Smith in 2005 while Brad was still married to actress Jennifer Aniston. They divorced on October 2, 2005 amid much heartbreak for Jennifer. There was more humiliation in store for her when Angelina later confirmed that she had indeed fallen for her hunky co-star while filming, adding that she “couldn't wait to get to work” everyday.

Angelina and Brad have six children together – sons Maddox, Pax and Knox, and daughters Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne. In 2002, Angelina adopted her first child, seven-month-old Maddox Chivan, from Cambodia. She was then married to, but about to separate from, actor Billy Bob Thornton.
