Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Entertainer of Indian Cinema award at the 8th Annual Vijay Awards at Chennai's SDAT Indoor Stadium on July 5.

Mrs Latha Rajinikanth, lovely in a bright kanjivaram saree, presented the award to SRK, who was all suited up. Popular south Indian actors Kamal Haasan, Surya, Vijay and Vikram Prabhu, music composer A R Rahman and director Shankar applauded him on the stage.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was conferred with top French civilian award - Knight of the Legion of Honor - in Mumbai on Tuesday, July 1. The actor is second Bollywood personality after megastar Amitabh Bachchan to be bestowed with this award.
