A cavalcade of celebrities was on display at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), with internationally famous stars like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Freida Pinto promoting their various films.
Even Bollywood had a say in matters as Akshay Kumar, a big favourite in Canada, premiered his much-awaited ice hockey film, Speedy Singhs. -

Angelina Jolie accessorised herself with a golden Louis Vuitton clutch; she wore handcuffs with her purse, presumably to avoid it being stolen.
Earlier this year, Jolie was signed on as the brand ambassador of the famous company; apparently, she was paid millions for a single ad campaign, all of which was donated to her various charitable causes. -
Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto poses for the shutterbugs, looking cute in an Alexander McQueen creation.
She stars in Michael Winterbottom's new film, Trishna, as the film's titular character. Trishna, co-produced by Sunil Bohra, was shot extensively and exclusively in rural India. -
The Devil Wears Prada and The Adjustment Bureau actress Emily Blunt arrives for the premiere of her new film, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.
Dressed in a classy jumpsuit, Blunt seemed a bit dazed by the gathered crowd and quickly slipped into the preview theatre. -
Spider-Man actress Kirsten Dunst walked the red carpet at TIFF to promote her controversial new film, Melancholia. She looked beautiful in a polka-dotted Prada number, coupling it with a pleated Chanel skirt.
Directed by Danish maestro Lars Von Trier (Antichrist, The Idiots), Melancholia was in the news when, at the Cannes Film Festival, Trier went on an anti-Semitic rant, leading him to be banned. Melancholia, however, won the Golden Palm even then. -
Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler, rumored to be George Clooney's new girlfriend, strutted her stuff on the TIFF red carpet, adding even more fuel to the fire.
However, her dress was panned by critics across the panel, some even calling it a "bizarre, backless nightmare".
